Equine Viral Arteritis Presentation

Equine Viral Arteritis is primarily a respiratory disease which has reproductive implications owing to its ability to cause abortions in the mare and become a permanently shed virus in the stallion's semen. Rarely fatal, with the exception of the aborted fetus and some neonates or debilitated animals, there are many misconceptions and misunderstandings which this presentation is intended to clarify.

The presentation was first given by Equine-Reproduction.com at the RPSI 30-day stallion test finals at Silver Creek Farms, Broken Arrow, OK, USA on April 2nd, 2008 as well as being presented via a "Webinar" at the same time.
