Congrats Nancy!!!! and welcome.
Have no fear, you are in good company. We're all scared to death until the foals hit the ground and confirmed healthy :-) .
When is your mare due??
We need pictures!

she is due the first week in april. i'll have to get my boyfriend to get the pictures on here i'm not that good yet. all this stuff w/ taking her off of pasture at 9mo. because of fescue. i'll probably just dig up all the grass in her paddock. this will be my first foal and i couldn't be more nervous. whew!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Nancy, this is going to be FUN (yes, I said FUN!).
Get rid of that fescue if possible. Digging up a field is ambitious! That mare better know how much you love her :-).
I'm a bit ahead of you on the foaling date...mine is due mid-late Feb. Last year she foaled early, so I'll have to be on the stick prior to her expected date of arrival this year.
2007 will be interesting...lots of folks having foals this year!
....I should start getting my foaling kit together (grin:-) ).
