Hi, I have a 6 yr old TB mare whom I have had her bred two months ago. She cycles once a month and she came back into heat about a couple of weeks after being bred to the stallion. So no she should be coming into heat and I have the stallion at my place and she just isn't showing any signs of heat nor does he act like she is his type if you know what I am saying. Could she be bred and if not what should I do??? I have the stud at my place until the owner feels like picking him up. I have kept the two together and away from the other horses so they can concentrate on eachother and nothing. I really need some suggestions??? PLEASE!!!!
You would be well advised to have the mare evaluated by a veterinarian for pregnancy status, and if she is not pregnant they can then determine why she is not pregnant.
