I have an older (17yrs old) mare that has had many foals. I just got her a few months ago and she was just bred as well. Well since I have had her I noticed drops of milk (white) hanging from her nipples occasionally and one day she was even spraying milk while she was walking! She is currently only 45 days in foal (just did another check). SO my question is is this common? Just hormones at play? Will she do this her whole pregnancy (going to make foal watch at the end harder!). Just wondering who has had experience with this. Thanks!
