heres the deal I got this mare from an auction last Oct she was under very under weight, started to put weight on her slow and notice that she looked like she was bagging up i was able to get fluid tiring to milk, not knowing her history other then she was used as a brood mare to be on the safe side i had the vet come out and palpate her he had said that she was not prego which was good could she still needed some weight put on her he said he didnt know why she had fluid and that if she had foaled before i got her that she would dry up,so now a few months later... I was giving her a bath the other day and noticed that she was dripping so I tried to milk her again and if I were any closer it would have shot me in the eye it came out in a stream can anyone tell me if this is normal,if not what do I need to do

Just IMPE, it's normal. My maiden mare has had fluid 24/7/365 since she turned 2. Several different vets and repro specialists have told me it's normal and fine. Often times it's plant estrogens bringing it on from what I've been told.
