Hey everyone, just wanted to give you the result from what happened on my previous post (I wanted to create a new thread so everyone would be sure and see the answer)...

Long story short - I took my mare in the 16th day after breeding to be preg-checked. No follicles forming and no embryo seen - vet recommended giving her LL to bring her back in. We did not give her the shot - had her checked again 3 days later and sure enough there was an embryo. So mare is in foal, and I am happy - but just wanted all of you to know in case you are in this situation (it might not hurt to just wait a few days and check again). Of course, we would have never known any different if she would have gotten the shot because she more than likely would have absorbed the embryo and come back into heat.
