This morning, my mare's teats were covered in little white dots. Her bag is not full yet. What are the dots and do they mean anything significant?

I think it is quite common and can happen anytime so would say it isn't significant! My warmblood has 2 months to go and she had them though they have disappeared again now!

This was Oreo's udder about 2 weeks before foaling and they did disappear prior to foaling.

Hi there, First time posting and hoping to find some answers. I've been searching around the site and havent found any photos of white spots on the udder like my mare has. My mare is due 2 weeks from her due date and has half a bag. We noticed this raised white dots all over her bag. They are everywhere, between the 2 halves, on the nipples, everywhere. Any ideas? Any info would be extremely helpful as noone I have contacted seems to know. Hopefully, this knowledgeable bunch will! http://http://www.userfriendlyminiatures.com/twisterleftrear.JPG http://www.userfriendlyminiatures.com/twisterfront.JPG
