Pepsi is 329 days, and yesterday I notice she was starting to bag up, but then I noticed she has this sac or bag behind the bag (??) really hard to explain.

It is not hot, but it is firm, doesn't seem to be bothering her BUT does anyone know what it is? Might BE? What I should do?

Cheri,Looks like some edema to me. Edema is common in late term pregnancy in horses. Try some cold hosing and walking to see if it helps relieve it.

Charlene I just saw your pictures of your mares udder. Cooly my maiden has a small udder but her nipples are long & sure to be seen. I hope my due date for her is right 4/4 ? I'll have to check my records again. But I guess everyone is different. I'll try tomorrow to get you some pictures of Cooly and Lakota. ~ K ~

Hi Kathy, I think I remember seeing pics of your mares now. Lakota is a sorrel overo right? My mares nips are puny. I hope they fill out before the baby is born.
