I'm contemplating breeding one of my mares in a couple of years. I'd do it now, but I don't have the money yet. I was wondering what the risks of this are.
My mare is in her early to mid teens, and I'm not sure of her breeding. She's a nice girl, and moves very nicely. If she ever was registered, its been lost. I have no way of knowing if she's ever had a foal.
I'd like to have a foal from her because I love her movement. I'd love another just like her.
Erin, read the other thread that is going on now "My mare, is she too old?" we are discussing this exact question right now.
