Ok so the mare that I posted about earlier still has not ovulated and it has been over a week now. Her follicle yesterday was at 58 and this morning she was checked by the vet and it is now at 68mm. I am worried it is an Anovulatory Hemorrhagic Follicle because it just keeps getting bigger and shows no sign of ovulation. She was givin hormones about a week and a half ago to bring her into heat. If this follicle is an anovulatory hemorrhagic follicle which I think it is by the way the ultrasound looks will she still have a chance of concieving on her next cycle? Will this heal so we can still breed this year or should I just give up? Please help
I can offer no help, but I sure feel for you! Breeding can be so challenging and very expensive....my vet bill just arrived..thinking of having some wine! LOL...I hope someone more knowledgeable has some good advice for you!
