Ok. Well I rescued a mare awhile back (last summer/fall) and she was kept with a young stallion. The people she came from did give us information about her in the lines of Her name is Annie, she is 25 y/o,she is a TB, and unable to breed. She was very malnurished and is now well on her way back to good health. The thing thats got me puzzled is when I brought her home she had a very small almost not even there udder. Well, now its a different story, She has gotten some milk (not much) and seems to be getting a "baby belly" but could this be because of the other mare being pregnant?? IM LOST!!!!
Try the "weefoal" test. It's a very accurate urine based test for mares. www.weefoal.com
I've used MANY of them and not had one fail me yet. Best of Luck!
