Hi Jos, I have been told that it's a good idea to massage the cervix once the pipette is withdrawn upon insemination. It induces uterine contractions which aid in the "transport" of semen through the uterus. What's your opinion on this, is it worthwhile? Thankyou, Lindy
My wife does, I don't. We both have excellent conception rates. My personal belief is that there is so much prostaglandin released simply as a result of the insult that does occur to the cervix and uterus that cervical massage probably doesn't increase the levels any.
