I have some new breeding stocks that are NOT working for me. When they arrived, I told the maker that they appeared to be too short and that I was afraid mares could kick over the top. Not only can they do that, but they are short enough that I've had two mares lean and fall OUT of them during breeding. Another got a leg over the back halfway and bruised her leg up very badly from all of her weight and the studs weight coming down on the cannon bone.
I know this isn't for commercial posting, but can anyone refer me to a manufacturer of GOOD and SAFE breeding stocks, or to measurements for SAFE ones that would allow me to have some custom made?
