Hi I am an eqine student at University of Queensland, Gatton (in Australia), and I have to do an assignment for a Repro Management Subject. My lecturer tells me that it is not possible to Super Ovulate mares, so I am going to do my assignment on this. If anyone has any information that might help I would love to hear from you.

While I would not wish to contradict your lecturer, I have to tell you that (s)he is err... wrong....
They are accurate in that there is no commercially prepared product available to cause superovulation in the mare, but there has been success using equine pituitary extract, which is obtained from cadavers by means of extraction and maceration of the pituitary gland.
I hope this perhaps might start you on a successful information trail....!
