I am interested in anyone's experience with the breeding phantoms with a self-contained AV. Other than the fact that it is static, and ejaculation not as well observed, what problems are there with the system? Are they still available, and from whom?

I have a phantom that has a self contained CO AV. My stallion will mount it and work it but does not finish the job. Now we just use a MO AV from the side. He likes that!

We have a stallion that will not use our phantom that has a self contained AV. he works it but won't ejacqulate he just stops right before. does anyone have this problem and what do you do to solve the problem. If we go off the side he tries to follow the AV.

Two years ago, I was finishing an appt. with my vet. He had to go check a stallion he had done surgery on. The stallion fell (I don't know how)anyway, fell while using a phantom with a built in AV ...and -well, not broke, but bent beyond/crushed his penis. My vet said that this is not the first bad situation that he's heard and/or dealt with when it comes to phantoms and built in AVs. I know I wouldn't put our stallion on one.
