I just wanted to take the time to thank Jos for a job well done as well as the time he(?) takes to stop and answer our questions, and render aid!
I would also like to thank all the other valued members of this board and their wisdom for all the much needed questions and answers we all need and look for in raising our equine family members! Thank you!! All of you, but especial you Jos, for all you have dedicated yourself too, you still find time for us little folk!
And I wanted to let you know I beleive we all VERY much appreciate you and your dedication..but I gotta ask..Are you a Miss, Ms or Mr just so I can be more politicaly correct when "talking" with you??

Thanks for the kind comments, but remember that it's very much all the board members that make this board a success! Without the questions there would be no answers, and there are lots of good answers being provided by many posters.

In other words, perhaps it should be me that's thanking you the board members for making the board a success! :-)

Oh - and I'm not big on being politically correct, so you'll have to take your chances... (if you hunt around the board enough though, you'll find your answer... :-)).

Gynna- I agree, I don't know that I've read anywhere that Jos is a man, but that's always been my impression. ( and it's just like him to keep us guessing )

Kim, Evie, and anybody else there was a thread about Jos that he is a man and his wife runs another forum on horses as well. Somewhere on this Equine-Reproduction web site there at one time was a picture of Jos to prove he is a MAN! But do you think I can find it or the thread.

So Jos has my vote... to prove he is a man!! :-)

This was my first foal and I don't know what I would have done without this place..It's so wonderful to know others are going through the same things, some have lots of experience and advice, others looking for the same advice..I call it my "support Group" ..I just love it!! Thanks to everyone for their time and advice..Please keep this going forever!!!!

Jos, I have to admit that I was curious as to whether you were male or female and had Googled you previously. Thanks for this discussion board. When I Googled you some info came up regarding you being at the Horse Owners and Breeders conference in Red Deer Alberta in previous years. Lloyd and I try to get to that whenever we can, and I was wondering if you had any plans in the future to be there.

I never figured it to be his wisdom that made Jos "sound" like a man to me, but his wit and humor. I have also chatted with Kathy who is also incredably knowledgeable about equines and equine repo..Thanks again Jos!

My mistake Jos. If you google your name a link to "Norther Horse" clinics listings comes up. It reads like this "11/25/2002, Jos Mottershead Clinic Schedule, Jos Mottershead. 11/05/2002, Alberta Horse Breeders and Owners Conference, Horse Industry Section ..." I hadn't opened the link, I just saw your name listed next to the Alberta Horse Conference. They are 2 separate listings. Sorry. I guess that means you won't
be there. That'll teach me to read the link before I ask silly questions.
