I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone on this board. I really appreciate all of the useful and kind information.
I am new here and do not know anyone, yet, and so I thought I would introduce myself. I have a small stable in NC. We own a 6 yr old Clydesdale stallion out of budweiser lines. We would like to breed quality clydesdale sporthorses. We are not looking to produce olympic quality horses but would like to produce nice tractable mounts. Ideally our foals would go on to be competitive in local shows as well as being steady enough to be an all around family type horse. As a stable our focus is on three day eventing but I would like the foals to be able to be competitive at the lower levels in most disciplines. We are only breeding our stud to our own mares this year but will be standing him to outside mares next year.
Thats enough about us. Please tell me a bit about you and your operation.
Hello everyone - I'm Sandy and back into breeding after taking a year off. We weren't sure how things would be with my husband retiring, but looks like we're going to be ok. I've used this page awhile ago and received such good information - I know I can count on everyone to help me out again. We primarily raise Paints and I have now teamed up with a trainer, so we'll be able to raise & train them for show or trail. Anyway - it's great to be back!
