Any recommendations on cameras? I want one that rotates (pans) is weatherproof, has night capabilities of at least 50 feet, and of course, will hook to a monitor or T.V. and is not over $300.00?

Thanks for any comments.

I was thinking about getting this Wireless Camcorder Motorized Pan and Tilt then putting the cheap night cameras I already have on them. They say it is good for 100 feet so it should be good at 50 feet
$119 plus shipping Includes:
1 x Wireless Transceiver
2 x Pan and Tilt 120VAC adapters
2 x Pan and Tilt Heads
2 x Pan and Tilt Remotes

This is the type cameras I have, they are not wireless which is not a big deal for me. I have had friend that could not view the video during a storm is why I went with wired. I have run then over 300 feet on coax cable from Home Depot and had good video at night. I wished I would of asked for the wide angle lens but with the pan and tilt it won't matter. This is the 3rd foaling season I have used them, I could not live without them.

You could problably have 2 cameras and motorized heads for $300

Thank-you for that information. Sounds great. I will order one tomorrow. I really appreciate this info.

Hopefully, my girls will wait until I get the camera to deliver. They are really getting close.

I was looking at the first camera you mentioned. It seems complicated to me, but then I am technologically challenged.

Is the camcorder weatherproof? This seems to be one of my big issues.

I didn't order the one I was going to buy, because it ships from China! That would be too late. Of course, I shouldn't have waited so long to set up a camera either!

But I really appreciate your suggestions.

The price from Hong Kong is great, I wouldn't get one from Hong Kong either, I paid around $80 - $90 3 yrs ago if I remember correctly. It was from a US company, might be the this company.

Mine has 48 Infrared leds, not sure it works in the dark to 180' but it does work a long way. Make sure you ask for the wide angle lens, I think that would be 3.6mm, wish I would have. It does not work on a TV, I have a small video monitor. Ask them about how to use it on a TV? It is an outdoor camera but I taped a plasitic bag around it but not over the lens just to be on the safe side.

The one linked below has
"Lens- 6mm (65deg) if you need 3.6mm, 8mm, or 12mm pls contact us

Infrared 48 (0.5) LED IR illuminators view up to 180ft"
