Just wondering as I know I'm not the only andalusian/lusitano person on here; is anyone else going to show or to watch? It's in Ft. Worth this week (the 17th - 21st). I'm planning to go watch (no one to show this year) Saturday afternoon and evening.....

No, I'm not going there, but I am going to the Arabian Nationals in New Mexico in a couple of weeks.

I've been at the one in Las Vegas a couple of times, but never in New Mexico. My brother lives there, so I'm going to check it out. I'm excited to go too. I need a break from everything. It seems like all I did this year was ultrasound, vet appointments, semen runs, ect.

I love Arabians!!! I have two myself. I used to ride the competitive races and did fairly well with that. I really don't have anything right now to compete with. I'm working far to much to train anyway.

Tracy, is there anything you want me to pick up for you or find out for you? I would be happy to do that. I think Laurie B. is there with her sculptures, so I'm going to see if I can find her. She seems like a real sweet gal, someone I'd like to meet.

Thanks Marilyn but I'm ok, I actually have a friend that is riding there and another friend going to see her so I'm covered! :-) Say hi to Laurie for all of us.

I'd love to go to the IALHA nationals, however it would be quite a trip for me (I'm in PA), so won't work for this year. Have fun, I bet it'll be great!

Lisa, wow the IALHA is this week already. I didn't realize it was so close. For some reason, I was thinking it's in November. You should have a ball. Are you staying overnight? You'll have to tell us all about it. Have a ton of fun!!!

Marilyn-ya, it started for qual. yesterday.... I won't stay over night as I live here in Dallas and I'm not showing just watching. I'll try to take some pics of all the gorgeousness that will be there. I'm getting excited to go....maybe I'll win the raffle gelding this year

I just got back from Celebration--the National show for P.R.E. Horses. It was held in Las Vegas over Labor Day.

It was great fun seeing old friends and the new horses in the country.

I took 5 horses and the competition was very stiff....10-15 horses in my morphology classes. I was thrilled to get into the too five when I could.
