WE AHVE A MARE THAT IS ON REGUMATE, HAS SLIPPED HER FOALS REGULARLY FOR THE LAST 2 BREEDING SEASONS W/ PREVIOUS OWNER. WE GOT HER BRED HER AND PUT HER ON REGUMATE. WE ARE NOW AT 50 DAYS AND VET SAID SHE WANTS TO TEST HER AGAIN AT 120 DAYS AND THEN PUT HER ON A WEEKLY INJECTABLE?? HAS THIS WORKED FOR ANYONE, SUGGESTIONS??
I use the weekly injectable with regumate but I use it dailly. I give 2mlS a day as opposed to 10 mls every 5 days. In case you could not tell, I have a very expensive mare who does not want to carry a foal, and she is young, God help me when she gets old!
