I have an older mare (23) that I will no longer breed (shes looking older...) and she loves the Stallion(in season or not). I was wondering if there was anything I could give her (realitivly cheap) or a procedure so she could run with the Stallion (21) and not get preg. She did have a baby this spring and he still works too... It would be a whole lot easier on me, letting them run together and they are happy together. I will still use the Stallion on other mares. It would be nice for them to be fly swishing buddies. The Stallion runs with geldings and his weanling colts, so he knows how to socialize. He had run with this mare when she was preg also.
Thanks Jos. Im not wanting to go to alot of expense and surgery is out as she is 23 and I dont want to put her through that. So things will remain as is! Mary Ann
