I have been gone a little bit. I know some folks were expecting some mule babies. Did anyone else have some longeared gems? Sure would love to hear about them and see them. Thanks |

Isabo will be three months on Sat. She totally runs the pasture. She is constantly harrassing the other mare Bailey. Bailey is the red and white mare and is two years old.

That is by far the most beautiful mule baby I've ever seen. I love her. If you see a truck/trailer leaving your place at night...it's not mine  .
Something tells me Miss Isabo has you RIGHT where she wants you!
How did you get her name ?
Talk about a set of ears on a fence post...that's a sight (giggle). |

What a pretty mule. I like mules, I have never had one but have always liked them very much. Do you have plans for her? |

Big plans! She will be my saddle mule in about 5 years. Mule develop physically slower than a horse. I am not going to rush her a bit. Next couple of years she will go for short trips to the woods with my current saddle mule Abbey. Then she will pack very light items for a year or two Before she starts her serious saddle training. She has such an awesome personality. Thanks for the compliments She appreciates it |

Oh Fred, she is so darling. She's getting big quick! I thought it was funny how you spelled your current saddle mule Abbey's name. That is the same way I spelled my daughter's! I kept seeing it spelled Abby in about everything I read but since it was her actual name and not a nick-name, I wanted something a little more formal in spelling so I added in the "E" It fits her too! I would love to see a picture of your mule Abbey. You should be real proud of that Isabo!  She's a pretty girl |

Heather--sorry I missed your question. I got the name from the movie Ladyhawk. Michelle Piefer's character was named Isabo.
Thanks a bunch Stormy, but I can't take credit she came to me with that name. The folks I bought her from had her since she was a weanling. She is now 13. I will post some photos of her in a the next few days. She is a 4 X 4 mountian rig ! |

I KNEW it!! That's the only place I've ever heard that name...and since it's just about my favorite movie (you know...big, gorgeous black stallion... ).
