I have a mare that we think might be 23 days pregnant, and we noticed a cloudy white discharge from her teats. I am unsure what this means. We bred her once then noticed her winking and discharging so we put her back in with the stud and she let him cover her. When we put her back in with the mares she stopped all signs of heat immediatly. Now her teats are discharging a milky substance. Any suggestions?
Sometimes mares can do this just on pasture. I have one that has a cloudy substance that you can actually milk out of her teats. I wouldn't bet on her being pregnant JUST BASED on that.
