I really need to get a foal book. Many questions our foal is a week and a half old and is a little spit fire. very strong and independent. we are in Michigan and getting horrible rain showers predicted to last through Monday. Momma HATES being locked in a stall but I just don't know would it be safe for the foal to be out in the showers not to mention the pasture has many many puddles now and is very muddy??
Does the pasture connect to the stall? If they can decide when to come in and out they should be fine I would think. As long as baby can find a dry place to lay down, he should be fine with the puddles.
