Ok, I have better things to do, and I DO have a life, I just am obsessed with this...
SO....I've uploading a video, of my mare, and the movement I'm seeing in her flank...
Anyone with DSL (4.8MB) can view it at:
www.schhgsd.com/jo302.mpg

And let me know what you think.

My vote is yes; she looks pregnant shape/belly wise to me too. Good luck!

The pictur is alittle pixely but I though I saw something that lookes coltsish. Can you feel it or just see it? On of my mares this year has had the most active obnoxious in uterus foal I have ever seen. This baby horse responds when you poke its mothers stomach buy exerting pressure back at you in what feels like a sharp kick. This is the first colt I've ever been able to feel like that. The mare is a very hard keeper so I attribute the fact that I can feel the colt so well to her being so thin. She has a some covering on her ribs but compared to my other mares she looks thin as a rail.

Sorry, the video is from my digital camera.

She's 302 days give or take in this video.

I can feel it, it's easier to feel than see it, and it's hard and moves against your hand, it is not the gurgling type movement of the gut, but I'm not sure it's not something else entirely.

Alien impregnation is high up on the list at this point.

Well Michelle, now I'm really curious! I can't view this video unfortunately but I too have felt very hard movement against my hand from Missy and the other day, felt something like a hoof poking out her side when I put pressure on it. Once I removed my hand, the shape was still there pointing outward then moved along the side and disappered. Very strange! Whatever is in her belly also will move and press out when there is pressure applied to certain parts of Missy's belly and flank area. This is much like what Megan was saying. Also, the other day I saw her belly "jolt" not like twitching, but JUMP out on one side and Missy turned to look at this, very angry and tried to bite it after growling {I think she's part dog at this point lol}. I know some people still think she might not be pregnant and I appreciate their input, but I honestly do think she is still. I am going to call the vet out though if she doesn't have it by next pay day. Yours looks and sounds pregnant to me too but then again, I can't be sure. I do understand your postings all too well though because it's the same stuff I see and feel! There are things you forget until you go back through your journal or someone mentions something that clicks your memory. It seems like I don't have the pen and pad available at some of these moments and then forget

Stormy what do you think alien gestation length is?
Longer or shorter than the elephants?
p.s. someday I'll learn to spell and type properly

Hey gals, I noticed the same thing when sonita was pregnant sounds like you two should have a baby sooner or later. I do believe i noticed the jolts, kicks, and movement about 3 weeks before the foal.
