Hi Melissa,
I'm not an expert for sure, as this is my first pregnant mare also, but my mare has been very gassy too lately. She is at 369 days today. One thing everyone keeps pointing out to me is that "due date" is not really a good term used when talking about horses. There is an awesome article written by Jos, who is a member on the forum which you might find helpful in general (not on the gas issue though). You can look in "348 days and still waiting" and find the link under "Is my mare overdue" or if you type in "overdue mare" on your computer, it should be the first thing to pop up. It seems like a lot of mares are "late" delivering this year for some reason. Jos' article has seemed to set many minds at ease! I wish you luck with your mare. Hopefully you can find the answer to the gassy issue too. I don't think it's really anything to worry about, but like I said, I don't know for sure.

mine was gassy a few days before and went a lot for a day or two before, but she had done that off and on since 330 days, and foaled at 355!
