Because today I checked Dallas and her vulva is VERY relaxed and almost gapping open just a little at the bottom, it also seems a little swollen, her udder is so huge it looks like it hurts. She is only at 312 days is this normal for them to start going throught his this early on? My other mares did not do this until the last week or so. Do you think this means she could foal soon?   Dianne Edwards Weanling Username: Mamaedwards Post Number: 47 Registered: 03-2006 Posted on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 - 01:36 pm:        Kassie, I am a first timer but Zorro bagged up and her vulva relaxed(pink showing) about three weeks before she foaled, all went back to normal after about 3 days, then she started bagging up again about a week before and relaxing again about 3 days before. I think it was like some kind of practice runor another one of her tricks to keep me guessing I never did see any milk or waxing. Hope that helps. I know others know more than me, good luck!
