Hey, I had an idea. I have made several slide shows before and thought it would be so much fun to do a slide show with everyones foals. I would need several pictures however, so if you want a picture of your baby in the show post a link to the picture her and I will work on the show and when I finish it I will post it on a site for everyone to see and save it they like. This is just for fun to help time pass a little easier. |

If you want to post more than one pic feel free. I will try and use all of them if I can. I put it with music so if I run out of time I will have to eliminate some pictures. |

Hi Kassie, Here is a link to my last years foals. Don't have any due this year. Lost my stallion in 04 and the new fellow is working at it this year http://photobucket.com/albums/y108/kijopainthorse/ guest password is horse There are two foals there. A tovero filly--here barn name is jello and a white med. hat filly --her barn name is candy. The kids named them can you tell ? Oh, then there is a pygmy goat named stormy from last year. Mama is due to kid any day now ! Thanks kim |

Kim W - I had to look this up a couple months ago after there was so much chatting about medicine hats with Jan. I had heard of them, but did not appreciate the significance of a true medicine hat horse. I found this link with great pics and a great story. Be sure to click on the yellow bow for more pics. http://www.ppqh.com/iron%20eyes%20tribute.htm (Message edited by katheekj on March 23, 2006) |

Ev- i can just write the question again... why is it if I stand just behind my mare her belly is completely gone (it used to stick way out), but if i am behind her from 100 feet away she sticks out a TON! she appears to be just HUGE still! how/why? front view too, up close she is narrow, but from further ways she is so wide yet....i dont get it, what view do you use to determine if she her belly is gone from the rear? |

Kris- that's not a question I can answer, sorry, I honestly don't know. Avery is playing games with me too these days. She had best have a nice foal when she finally DOES do it, she owes me big at this point! Update on Sassy- she's getting down to business, I'd about (almost) put money that we'll have a baby before morning! YEAH!! it's about time. |

Thanks Kathee - that was a great link. And now I know : ) No wonder that Jan is so hoping for a medicine hat, they are lovely arent they and they have such a special story... I like the lighter coloured ones best - Just personal preference because we have so many black and white cobs in this country, heavy horses arent GENERALLY my breed. So Sorrel and white would be nice for me. I really hope you get one Jan. All the best Thanks again Kathee : ) |
