My mare got them just a few days before but some I think have them a bit more ahead of time. The other girls would know better. |

Elena those would be milk veins it is normal and just means see is heading towards the end of pregnancy. My mare is at day 309 today and has started a bag last year she foaled four weeks after starting a bag so I guess I'm down to four weeks away. Windy |

My mare got those from about 6 months along in her first pregnancy, and they never went away, even the year she was empty. So unfortunately, they are not an accurate indicator of foaling being close. I sometimes worry about how big Pammy's are. They are like an old dairy cow, and she is a young mare. |
