Have a new foal, she got crusty eyes 3 days ago, while her dam was in foal heat. Now her breathing sounds raspy.I don`t see any signs of a snotty nose, but her breathing is definetly noisy at times. Her Temp seems normal, she is eating normal, playing normal. Dam is fine. Is this from foal heat? I`m not thinking so !
At minimum, talk to your vet soon. Things change fast when they are young. But Deena is right, getting the vet to have a look is best.
