That could be your difference. Close to the nine month will be ok give or take a bit will not make a huge difference unles your mare goes alot longer than they base it on. You can only get it as close as possible and there are no guarentees on when the mare will foal. So if i had a mare that I knew went almost 12 I might even hold it off just a bit maybe like 9.5 months. Just trying to get max. protection from the vaccine.
