I am looking for a site that shows the gestational developement of a foal. I have seen a million pictures of the development of a human fetus, but I REALLY want to the what my horse baby looks like!!! |

check out this website, it's the only one I have found so far that shows anything at all on gestational development in the equine. www.geocities.com/Heartland/Estates/6358/fetustimeline.html |

Sandy: Thanks so much for sharing that web site with me!!! I have been looking for a year-- I'm not very good at searches and I'm so excited to finally "know" what my baby looks like!! THANK YOU! If you come up with anything else (ie real photos, etc) please email me at mhs_merit@yahoo.com Lisa |

Lisa, Glad to be of help. I also have been searching forever for "real" photos of equine gestation and have found nothing. At least with the website address that I gave you, it's something! Sandy |

I have added a link to gestational pictures to my web site that seems to work a little better than the one I previously gave you. If anyone wants to check it out, here's the url: www.angelfire.com/ut2/sbr/index.html click on the "Links Page" and you will find a link for gestational pictures there! |

i found this link the other day, it is a little graphic but interesting all the same, it doesn't do all the months of growth, it does aound 3 months to 8 or nine months i think, it will give you an idea of size if you think you have the stomoch for it. http://www.nemr.net/~ccason/index.fetus.htm please don't go here if you have a week stomoch or do not want to see a real fetus. |

Here is a link that is not so graphic, hope it helps. I know that this is not a real picture site but it does give you an idea about the size it is and what the changes are each month. http://equineestates.com/development.html |
