Recipient mares are still available, however, we are in short supply right now as current customers have taken most of them. Contact us early as possible if your clinic needs any mares for this year or next. Thanks 515-460-1848

I just wanted to post here that I have a 10 yr old paint mare that I bought two years ago in foal. She has had two foals by two different stallions and both have had parrot mouths and she was rebred on foal heat to my stud before the first one started showing symptoms of it. As a breeder I do not want to perpetuate this kind of breeding!! She is an extremely easy breeder, foals 10 days early, is a huge milker and has NO issues with personality etc. She is as sweet as can be, easy to catch in a huge pasture, extremelty halter broke and can be walked all over by my grandkids. Great Mom and lets you mess with her babies too and is NOT an Alpha mare!! She would make an excellent recip mare as that way I could assure she is not being bred to produce the defect but also that she has a good home. Been wormed and farrier care every six weeks, UTD on all shots and we have excellent references. She is a VERY BIG bodied mare and carries foals easily. I am asking 500 for her to the right home. She can be seen at www.pniranch.com/honey.htm and our contact info is on the site.

I am also posting a 10 year old Appaloosa mare that has had two foals for me, both AI. She is very easy to get in foal through AI (I did it myself and am a neophyte). She delivers easily, lots of milk and great mother. No vices, easy to handle for vet and farrier. Great in the stocks and inseminating - no drugs needed. Gets worming and hoof care every six weeks; annual shots. I had one super colt out of her this year, but the one we got last year has had problems related to genetics. She is a big bodied mare and I think would be a great candidate for ET recipient. She is free to good home. My vet and farrier can recommend her to interested parties.
