I have an 18 yr old miniature mare who is 325 days gestation. She is bagging up nicely. However, when I have checked her milk, one side of her udder has a yellow, cheesy looking substance. Similar to what I would see if she had mastitis, but she shows no other symptoms of that. Should this be stripped out? Should she be put on antibiotics?
Is that half hot or tender to touch? I would be speaking to the vet as you don't want to leave an infection at that stage of her pregnancy.
