Hey guys, so I feel the need to try to tackle this now rather then waiting until May(which would be about a safe time to call her not preggo), or until she has a foal. She was with a stallion between April 19th and the 25th, 2010.
But has always been pudgy and I was hoping her to me and getting her on a good feed and a good schedule would help. And it did for the whole two weeks that the lady keeping her was able to keep up the schedule and amounts I had figured out. She was also getting regular exercise. But she is a pig and bully and started forcing the other horses away from their food because she'd finish first, so the lady started to feed her more; and not tell me. And I wasn't able to exercise her as much. And I just let it go after asking her again and again to just tie her while she ate and then turn her loose after the rest were done.
That didn't help because she wouldn't do it. And I can't find a better deal then she is giving me. Now it's critical, she is possibly at day 282 today and has a thick cresty neck, fat pads on her rump and belly. And I plan on having a talk with the lady keeping her. But I need ya'll's help as to what to feed her, how much to feed her, and any tips on how to feed her. Pictures of her can be found on the 2011 waiting board in Rythem's watch. Please give me advice. And I'm sorry Jos if this doesn't belong on this board, feel free to delete if needed.
