Hello,
We are standing our stallion for the first time this year to our own mares and while his "first" time he mounted, flagged, and dismounted without any problems, very nice since it is both his and our first times. However my question lays in the last two breedings to the same mare. Both times he mounted and flagged fine, he stayed on her for a few seconds after but afterwards when he came out he brought with him large amounts of liquid (ejaculate I am assuming as it is milky white). Is this normal? I am guessing that there was about 50-60 ml of fluid expelled. He was still erect and had a full "bloom", should we be worried that he isn't making it all the way to the cervical opening? Or is he not staying in long enough to relax the "bloom" without creating a suction on the way out? Like I said the first breeding was fine with VERY small amounts (drops) being expelled. We are breeding every other day till the mare comes out of heat as to not over tax the stallion. He is not rushing, getting overly excited prior to breeding, and everything else has been normal also.

Thanks for any help you may have on this subject.
