6 weeks ago my mare had an attended and uncomplicated foaling. The filly was born with her tounge out and had difficulty laching on to nurse. We had the vet out to tube her with colostrum. The next day her IgG was borderline, so I gave her plasma. She has been nursing fine and growing like a weed. She grew 6 inches in 5 weeks - but did not get any wider. Now her hocks hit as she walks and her back legs cross and she stumbles or falls. She also locks her stifles and get a stringhalt movement to unlock them. All of this make her very uncoordinated and I have kept her on limited turnout in hopes that she will grow out of this stage. I have had 2 vets look at her and both said she was not neuroligical. But it is hard to see her struggle to get around. Any advice on my wobbly one? Karen
