My Easter Filly seems okay in every way except that her coat is still so fuzzy. And she is not developing much muscle. I am comparing her to my colt, and he filled out and has a smooth coat. He is just two weeks older.

I wormed them all, just in case that was the problem. That was about a week to ten days ago. She has some loose stool now, but I am presuming her mother is in heat.

Any ideas? Or is this normal?

All my babies are fuzzy...and only starting to shed around the eyes and nose...the oldest was born March 30...

So I would say no worries....

Thanks Terry. It is just that my colt (just over 6 weeks) looks so slick and she isn't. I'm not too worried, but wondered if I should repeat the worming or something.

But if your's are still fuzzy, I'll chalk it up to differences in foals. LOL.
