So Sky is only nursing from the Left side. he is geting alot of food but the right side is streaming and I have to milk it to help releve the presure. Swan has huge amounts of milk and no mater how much he nurses or I milk out we cant put a dent in the bag. My question is should I be woryed about him not geting enough colosterum just from one side or is it one large bage and he is geting enough? I try to give him what I milk out but he wont eat much of it. Both sides look the same on what comes out but I just don't know. Thanks
I'm no expert Tahra, but if I were you I would collect it from the side he is not nursing on and try to bottle feed it to him, or you could try to get him to nurse from the right side by gently guiding him to that side.
