I have a healthy filly (so far), born almost 5 hours ago. I read about the septic foal a month back and when the vet comes out today...I would like to make sure I have what I need on hand. I have penicillin and bactrim already, but would like to know if I need LA200 or something else as well on hand. Here's what I read on the other thread:
get heavy-duty broad-spectrum antibiotics into them first, and worry about what the bug is later
