hi my name is ash and im a student at the University of QLD Australia.i am currently studying equine stud management and would like to know details of a kit that you would have on farm to handle an aborted foetus to minimise the risk of abortion in other mares, and how you would handle the mare that has aborted and the other mares on your farm to minimise the risk of abortion in other mares. i am expecting 2 foals due soon so id like to be prepared if it ever happens.
We send any aborted foetus to a lab to be tested to determine reason for abortion. It's a free service in Ireland.
