My mare went to a vet school for a breeding soundness exam. The breeding expert said she had a very small track and ovaries ( peanuts)> She rarely shows to be in season. Vet report said " the endometrail atrophy may be related to season and could improve with increasing day lenght"never seen a cylce" only tried three times". Once artophy is corrected fertility should not be affected Treatment with Domperidome or GnRH could be attempted to stimulate ovarian activity Her IIA is 50 to 80% chance of supporting pregnacy to term. Has anyone had this before. Have you had sucess. This is a really nice mare fun to ride, easy to train, with good breeding and a joy to be around. Though I don't want to stress her or dump money in a hopeless hole. I'm worried the my vet is gun ho because it would be educational to try? They also know I really want to breed her.
