Hi, more silly questions...out of pure curiousity!
When progestine is used for retaining a pregnancy.. a. How do you determine which mares will benefit from progestin use...ie which mares NEED progestine treatment?? b. If you started using progestin during early gestation...say around 20 days, when can you stop the treatment and why at this time?? c. In the case in question a... Explain "safe" on the basis of Regu-Mate's effect on the mares homrones, embryonic growht and reproductive potential of foals born from treated mare. d. What is the main physiological effect which prevents abortion? Should you do weekly checks for a viable fetus during treatment? If so...why?
Hopefully you can help me with this. Thanks -Tassi
