I don't think my stud colt is arroused easily enough(He's finally really starting to realize that he is a stud) to ground collect currently and i'm not planning on using him for breeding this year but was wondering if I should try to train him for ground collection this year or just wait for next year or allow him to breed a few live cover?   Jos Board Administrator Username: Admin Post Number: 919 Registered: 10-1999 Posted on Friday, July 21, 2006 - 11:46 am:        We find that it makes little difference if the libido is good. If the libido is not good, there is still little difference, but the low libido itself reduces the chance of successful ground collection. Note that we have ceased to work with 2 year-olds for ground collection training, as we find a far higher proportion of them have not yet developed good libido and success rates are proportionally lower.
