Similar question have been asked and I looked and read them thank you.
My stallion is an August baby, he was collected (by a very experienced horse vet) for the first time in the middle of May (so he was 33 months old) and the ejaculate showed zero sperm, none, nada. He was collected again 2 weeks later (end of May) and same thing: good mount, rapid erection, ejaculate contained no sperm. Vet said testicles still felt too soft to be mature. His libido is certainly healthy, he gains erection quickly, mounts, thrust, goes very limp and quiet and then backs down with his gland fully enlarged.

He was then turned out with a good reliable broodmare that was in heat for the first part of June with the idea that being exposed to the mare and breeding would "kick start" his sperm production hopefully. This mare did not catch.

He was then hand bred to another mare in standing heat in mid June (1 month after initial collection), mare is not pregnant based on ultrasound.

Wondering what time frame I should have before giving up hope for the season. The mare will come back in heat soon. My normal vet doesn't collect stallion.
Is it too early to invest in brigning in a vet from far to get him tested again? How long before he starts at least producing some sperm? Should I just turn him out with the mare for the rest of the summer and let him mature? I woudn't be too concern if he had low sperm count and other low indicators but NO sperm at almost 3yrs old. He's a warmblood by the way.

Thoughts, ideas?

Thank you

Thanks
