I have been reading with great interest the threads on older stallions. I am getting an older stallion in a few days and as a matter of curiousity was curious how old are stallions generally when they become infertile. I personally don't have any mares and the only adjoining property to me is a cattle pasture. I don't intend to stand the old gentleman, just a general curiosity question.
There's no certain age. Some stallions may be infertile at 12 while others are still healthily fertile at 32.
