I was just wondering if there's a noticeable difference in a stallion's attitude after collection. For instance, if I were to collect a stallion first, then take him out and ride him around mares, would his libido be markedly lower after collection, or would he recover and be 'ready for action' again right away? Just a question out of curiosity...

Depends on the horse. I hand breed our mares and ship semen for outside mares. Our horse knows the difference between riding and breeding. His libido is very high, and we can easily breed 2 mares right after each other, BUT he knows that when he has a saddle on I will not put up with any monkey business. He is, however, usually more relaxed at shows if we breed or collect before putting him in the trailer...
