I have a very importing question as I have a stallion on trail. He is a 3yr old stallion with no foals on the ground. We try to cover a mare that was in a hard standing heat and he come up and when through all the emotions of a stallion that has bred before then when it come time to mount he loose all interest in the mare. We try for a good hour and he would do the same thing over and over but never mount the mare was very willing and was even backing into him try to get him to mount her but he still would do the same thing.Any hint tips or reason he could be doing this? He is a very nice Colt and the price I will be paying for him is a lot and I don't want to invest alot if I can't get him to breed. Is there any test I can have the vet do to help me out?
