Hi I have a 12ish year old horse. According to many diffrent people, vet included, we think the horse is about 12. And gelded...but...today it appears that he suddenly has dropped 2 testicles. He does not appear to be in any discomfort. Is it possible that a horse this old could avtually be a stallion? He has always acted a little like one. Or do you know of anything else the two "lumps" could be? They seem to have appeared over night. Thanks
I would probably ask the vet....could be a hernia. I don't believe it is possible that he dropped at 12. I had a young stallion who was not dropped, and I think you'd know if that was the case....they tend to act even more 'stallionish' than a stallion who IS dropped.
