I have my first stallion (never bred) and this winter he has been clipped once and seems to sweat much more than my other horses. He is appendix and has no clue that he is intact. Is this normal for stallions? or maybe just him? He is does get turned out with 2 other geldings that he loves, but he is always much warmer than them. THANKS!!
Unless he's running the fenceline trying to talk to mares, or chasing the geldings harder than a gelding would (both of which could be put down to stallion-behaviour), it's "just him".
